Help People from This Disaster: Donate To Bangladesh Flood

250,000 people impacted: Bangladesh could be plunged into a humanitarian crisis as it undergoes the most prolonged flooding in decades while it is still recovering from the effects of Super-Cyclone Amphan. More than 9.6 million affected by this flood.

Thousands of people have fled for safety, while millions have been left stranded due to the monsoon floods across the region, with dozens tragically losing their lives. Bangladesh is experiencing one of its worst nightmares because its low-lying areas are flooded. Many residents' homes have been damaged, and they do not have access to food or clean drinking water.

Many people are trapped in this tragedy in Bangladesh. Families, children, and youngsters are all trapped in this heavy disaster, and day by day, they are running out of their essentials. People need urgent help because they don't have any other options. BDesh helps the communities with lifesaving aid. Donations enable us to mobilize resources to provide food, clean water, water purification products, medicines, clothing, and more to flood-affected Bangladesh families.

After June 2022, nearly 80,000 people were cut off from the country and stranded without food or water. Flooding catches them very drastically, and they are abandoned in their shelters. They are pressured to make their lives work with limited resources. Wells and drainage systems are destroyed, the water becomes dirty, and most people suffer from diseases. Thousands of children, women, men, and elders can be saved by giving to our Bangladesh emergency flood relief appeal. With our help, millions will have life's necessities, livelihoods, and homes.

Important items they need:

– Purified water

– Food

– Clothes

– Tarpaulins, shelter needs

– Medicines

– Cooking utensils

– And more

DONATE RAMADAN MEALS

Why donate food during Ramadan?

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims worldwide fast for a month to become closer to Allah (SWT). The fast is a self-discipline and sacrifice practice that allows Muslims to self-cleanse, practice patience, and reflect on those less fortunate, living in poverty, or experiencing turbulent lives through no fault of their own. Muslims are reminded during this time to show compassion to the needy and make their Zakat donation to ensure that those living in poverty or facing hardship receive life-changing assistance.

Ramadan is an opportunity to give charity to feed the poor. BDesh Foundation’s Ramadan Meal Project provides food to people who need them throughout Ramadan. During the pious period, you can give meals and demonstrate your humanity to your less fortunate brothers and sisters. You can help them by participating in this Ramadan food donation program to fulfill their brotherhood.

The message of Allah (saw) said,

Whoever provides iftar for a fasting person in it (Ramadan) shall be forgiven for his (the feeder’s) [minor] sins and freedom for the fire. And for such a feeder shall be the same reward as the one who fasted (whom he fed) without that person compensation and without that person’s bonus being decreased in the least.

[Ibn Khuzayma]

During Ramadan, there is an increase in both obligatory and voluntary donations. These contributions include

  1. Zakat
  2. Zakat al-fitr
  3. Kafera
  4. Fiday
  5. Ramadan iftar donation

MEDICAL CARE

BDesh Foundation offers free medical care to people in need. Individuals from all over the world can donate through our online Crowdfunding web portal. Our goal is to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or disasters by mobilizing and providing critical medical resources. We can give new hope to many deserving patients by working together to raise funds to make a difference.

HEALTH CARE FOR MUSLIM CHILDREN

When someone becomes ill, their access to health care varies greatly. The healthcare system is less accessible to poor people. BDesh performs in conjunction with several USA-based health charity organizations and provides essential healthcare services, medicine, and equipment for needy children.

HEALTH CARE FOR ROHINGYA

The Rohingya people are one of the world’s most persecuted minorities. Thousands of Rohingya refugees fled Myanmar during previous waves of violence and persecution. Most are housed in precarious shelters in overcrowded settlements, making them vulnerable to transmission of disease.

The Rohingya are a Muslim ethnic minority who have been living in Myanmar for hundreds of years. They are stateless and face particular difficulties obtaining access to health care and other basic rights because Myanmar’s government has denied them citizenship.

The Rohingya have limited access to health care, and the vast majority are not routinely immunized. As a result, they are extremely vulnerable to diseases that can be avoided. Your help is essential to our lifesaving activities.

Health Care

This program includes a network of doctors who will provide mobile medical clinic support and ambulance services to patients in need

Your donations will also support free eye exams and cataract removal procedures for poor elderly citizens of Bangladesh.

2. Project Women’s Care:

Burmese security forces have committed widespread rape against women and girls as part of a campaign of ethnic cleansing against Rohingya Muslims in Burma’s Rakhine State – Human Rights Watch stated in a report. Fifteen-year-old Hala Sadak, from Hathi Para village in Maungdaw Township, said soldiers had stripped her naked and then dragged her from her home to a nearby tree where, she estimates, about 10 men raped her from behind. She said, “They left me where I was…when my brother and sister came to get me, I was lying there on the ground, they thought I was dead.”

BDesh’s focus is to improve women’s health and financial well-being. Project Women Care provides women with primary health care, sanitary hygiene aid, livelihood initiatives, etc.

Your Zakah and Sadaqa can help to rebuild the lives of Rohingya women.

Children Care Program

Children Care Program

Today’s children are leaders of tomorrow. Unfortunately, the socio-economic environment plays a significant role in children growth and their development as future leaders. Our mission is to create a lasting, positive change in the lives of children in need around the world. DONATE

It is hard to imagine that a newborn baby will be abandoned by a parent soon after the birth. Unfortunately, it is a reality for some children in Bangladesh. Some newborn babies are helplessly left out in hospitals, clinics and even on the street.

Indeed, millions of children are orphaned in Bangladesh and around the world. These children need your help and love for a healthy growing environment. BDesh Foundation recognizes that life is a gift from Almighty Allah (SWT) and every human being has the right to live a dignified and happy life.

Our goal is to ensure that children in need grow up protected, educated, healthy, well-nourished, and are able to thrive in an economically secure environment. With your help, many children from Bangladesh could be saved from working in child labor and receive an opportunity to grow up in a healthy, educated environment. BDesh Foundation delivers your donations directly to the affected children by providing them with necessities such as food, shelter, health care, clothing, and education.

There are 20 million children of primary school age in Bangladesh:

  • 16.1 million are enrolled in primary school.
  • Only 10 million attend regularly
  • Only 5 million will achieve basic literacy and numeracy by the age of 10.
